    Hi, thanks for a great article – there is certainly a lot of inspiration there… I have to agree with what a lot of people have said though – I am a great advocate of user centred, accessible, usable design and some of these designs, beautiful as they are, just don’t meet my criteria for a _good_ website…

    I think it’s important to find a happy balance between beautiful design and usability – they are not mutually exclusive as many seem to think… But still – it’s a great collection

    I just love the “childish” design style found in the first screenshots. As long as the usability of the site does not suffer, I would probably go this route with a new site I’m planning to do (although I’m not a designer myself and have to have someone else do it for me ).
